Freedom TeleCare has developed innovative yet simple solutions that
solve the problems encountered in today's Home Health Care
environment. Freedom Telecare's CareCalls®
are used by leading national Home Healthcare
Agencies and by families caring for their loved ones.
THE SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY:
Freedom Telecare’s service provider has delivered
millions of communications transactions in its 5-year history, the
system is considered to be the most robust interactive
communications engine on the market. This Advanced Interactive
Communications Services platform has been designed to benefit from
hardware available in Internet web-farms. It is based on the
exchange of information using standard Internet protocols such as
HTTP and XML. This makes the architecture distributed and promotes
high levels of availability and reliability by using redundant
systems that replicate all critical components.
SCALABILITY:
Scalability is a key factor in growing to our customer demands. Our
system is currently capable of handling 5,000 simultaneous CareCalls®.
The telephony systems we use are housed in the facilities of
telecommunications providers Global Crossing and AT&T, therefore, we
are able to rapidly expand our telephony bandwidth as required.
RELIABLITY:
Because our CareCalls® carry
time sensitive information, our clients count on us to be extremely
reliable. Our system architecture is designed in a modular and
parallel fashion that provides fault tolerance and redundancy so
that if any one point in the system fails, there are standby
parallel components available as backups.
AVAILABILITY:
Freedom Telecare’s service provider has achieved availability levels
of 99.99 %, equivalent to systems "Commercial Fault Tolerant" or
"Fault Tolerant", and in which the down-time is in the order of 50
minutes/year or less. All critical servers have "hot-swappable"
components and "QuickConnect" wiring. Using these type of servers,
if a server should fail it can be easily removed from the system and
replaced quickly.
COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Freedom Telecare only saves such personal information that is
necessary for you to access and use our services. This personal
information includes, but is not limited to, first and last name,
physical address, email address, phone number, birth date, financial
information, and medication information.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL
INFORMATION: Your personal information will be
used in order to provide you with better service. This includes the
use of information for services or communicating back to you. Credit
card numbers are used only for payment processing and are not used
for any other purpose.
WHO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL
INFORMATION WITH: We will NOT sell or rent
your name or personal information to anyone else. We DO NOT sell,
rent or provide outside access to our mailing list at all. If
required by law, search warrant, subpoena or court order, Freedom
Telecare may be required to release such personal information.
